SARA PINTO<\/strong><\/p>\n EXECUTIVE MEMBER<\/strong><\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=”https:\/\/www.fine-europe.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/Screenshot-2025-01-06-at-21.30.53.png” title_text=”Screenshot 2025-01-06 at 21.30.53″ align=”center” _builder_version=”4.27.2″ width=”30%” module_alignment=”center” height=”80px” global_colors_info=”{}”][\/et_pb_image][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”3_5″ _builder_version=”4.16″ global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.27.2″ global_colors_info=”{}”]<\/p>\n I\u2019m a Portuguese Nurse, passionate about promoting excellence in Nursing.<\/p>\n My journey began with a Nursing degree (2005, Nursing School \u00c2ngelo Fonseca<\/em>), followed by a Master\u2019s in Palliative Care (2012, University of Porto<\/em>), a PhD in Nursing Sciences (2017, University of Porto<\/em>), a specialization in Medical-Surgical Nursing Palliative Care (2020), and a Postdoc in Health Sciences (2023, University of Coimbra<\/em>). I\u2019ve pursued development through programs in Portugal, the UK (King\u2019s College London<\/em>), Belgium (Erasmus+<\/em>), and Spain, focusing on critical thinking, online e-activities<\/em>, and simulated practice.<\/p>\n I bring over 19 years of experience, including 12 years in clinical practice in hospitals and community care, which has deeply influenced my approach to Nursing education and research.<\/p>\n In 2017, I transferred to academia, coordinating a hybrid postgraduate course in Palliative Care (2018-2022) and co-coordinating the bachelor\u2019s in Nursing (2020-2022), while chairing the Quality Assurance Committee (2019-2022) and integrating the Technical-Scientific Council (2017-2021). Since 2022, I\u2019ve been an Adjunct Professor at Porto Nursing School<\/em>.<\/p>\n Since 2015, I\u2019ve collaborated with the Portuguese Agency for Assessment and Accreditation of Higher Education<\/em>, evaluating Nursing and Palliative Care programs in Portugal and Macau. This experience has been crucial in equipping me for further challenges, including my involvement in the Regional Expert Committee on Research, Education, and Training<\/em> at the Portuguese Nursing Council<\/em>, and, since 2023, my role in the scientific coordination of the Portuguese Observatory of Palliative Care<\/em>.<\/p>\n As a researcher, I\u2019ve published over 58 papers, co-authored three books, and received a fellowship from the Portuguese Nursing Council<\/em>.
