Dear FINE members.

It is with pleasure and honor that I represented our federation at the International Conference of the Chair of Bioethics of Unesco which took place in Jerusalem from 26 to 29 November. As early as March 2018, we submitted with Christophe Debout, general secretary of fine, an abstract which was selected among more than 500 submissions. The idea being to communicate on the basis of the results of our works of Rome and Lyon, by questioning us on the competence in ethics of the teachers of the sciences of the health.
If Unesco advocates that good quality education is the foundation of health and well-being for people to lead healthy and productive lives, they need knowledge to prevent the disease. Fine advocates that the proper training of teachers in ethics is the guarantee of adequate training of students in health sciences and nursing science for safety and quality care in the field.
In addition to the extremely rich informal exchanges with the people of the units labeled by the chair of bioethics of Unesco this conference has allowed to position FINE as an expert actor in the field of teaching in this discipline.
