Ateliers de FINE

FINE organise régulièrement des ateliers de travail et de réflexion sur la formation en soins infirmiers en Europe. Depuis 2005, les participant-e-s aux ateliers ont travaillé sur le processus de Bologne et la formation en soins infirmiers. Ces ateliers préparent les thématiques des conférences biennales de FINE.

Le thème général des ateliers 2011 - 2013 est:

OBJECTIVES

FINE members will work together in the 2011 - 2013 series of workgroups to:    
 

1.   Explore lifelong learning in nursing and in nursing education including drivers which may enforce or restrict lifelong learning including the roles of the Bologna process EQF, TUNING, EU Directive.

2.   Receive and discuss expert presentations on the development and challenges of lifelong learning in nursing, nurse education and practice. These may include learning in practice, continuous professional development, advancing nursing and nursing at Bachelor, Masters and Doctoral level. 

3.   Consider how lifelong learning in nursing and CPD may be practically developed in future to help nurse educators in all countries to advance the art and quality of their practice with all nurses.

4.   Generate practical opportunities for sharing and evaluating lifelong learning in nursing trans-nationally.

5.   Create a toolkit for nurse educators to support lifelong learning for nursing across Europe.

 

Workgroup 1

1.     To explore the concepts of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and lifelong learning and share country developments in these areas. The EU directive consultation which concludes on the 15 March will offer a wider context for considering how CPD and nursing education more generally might be proposed for all countries in future.

2.     To define a pan-European concept of lifelong learning and CPD through exploring what these ideas mean to Members. (Including exploration of personal CPD, and sharing countries current situations, opportunities and challenges).

3.     To examine European legislation for Professional Qualification of Nurses from different viewpoints of the universities and from professional practice through expert speaker presentations.  Members will be encouraged to create their responses to the European Directive Consultation including a membership vision of the way continuing professional development may be considered.

 

Workgroup 2

1.     Explore the current position of Bologna Process, EQF, TUNING, EU Directive in respect of advancing Nursing and Nursing Education.

2.     Discuss the development and challenges of developing mastery in nursing and nurse education.

3.     Share resources for the continuing development of Masters level learning in nursing and nursing education in future to help nurse educators in all countries to advance the art and quality of their practice.

4.     Generate practical opportunities for sharing and evaluating development of Masters (second cycle) nursing education trans-nationally.

5.     Create a toolkit for nurse educators to support understanding of lifelong learning for nursing across Europe. - Refining the structure and adding to the contents

Tool kit structure (Currently)

Unit 1. Lifelong learning and Continuous professional development (CPD) in nursing across Europe,

-         Introduction – Revisiting Lifelong learning (powerpoints and literature and web pages).

-         Definitions of lifelong learning

-         Country situations and developments.

-         Resources

 

Unit 2. Masters level learning for Nursing, in light of Bologna.

Unit 3.   Supporting higher learning for nursing and nursing education, in light of Bologna

 

Workgroup 3

1.     Explore the current position of Bologna Process, EQF, TUNING, EU Directive in respect of advancing Nursing and Nursing Education.

2.     Discuss the development and challenges of developing doctoral learning in nursing and nurse education.

3.     Share resources for the continuing development of Doctoral level learning in nursing and nursing education in future to help nurse educators in all countries to advance the art and quality of their practice.

4.     Generate practical opportunities for sharing and evaluating development of Doctoral nursing education trans-nationally.

5.     Create a toolkit for nurse educators to support understanding of lifelong learning for nursing across Europe. - Refining the structure and adding to the contents
