Workshops FINE

FINE regularly organizes workshops and reflections on nursing education in Europe. Since 2005, participants worked on the Bologna process and training in nursing. These workshops prepare the themes of the biennial FINE conference

The general theme of the workshops 2011 - 2013 is:

Nursing Education -
Developing the Art and Facing the Challenges

You will find, under the next workshop and past workshops, all information and presentations that have driven these workshops.

OBJECTIVES

FINE members will work together in the 2011 - 2013 series of workgroups to:

1.   Explore lifelong learning in nursing and in nursing education including drivers which may enforce or restrict lifelong learning including the roles of the Bologna process EQF, TUNING, EU Directive.

2.   Receive and discuss expert presentations on the development and challenges of lifelong learning in nursing, nurse education and practice. These may include learning in practice, continuous professional development, advancing nursing and nursing at Bachelor, Masters and Doctoral level.
